News 14-Aug-08. The September Sessions 2008 - The Return
The 2008 event will be held on the picturesque coast of West Ireland on the 30th - 31st August. Our hosts for the event will be Jamie Knox Watersports, who are based on the shores of Brandon Bay on the Dingle Penninsular - a sandy horseshoe bay open to swell from the Atlantic. The pace of life is slow in Brandon Bay and the beaches are clean and spacious. The waves range from perfect peeling reef breaks through to gentle sandy beach breaks. The flat water cruising is awesome with a back drop of mountains and forests. It has to be seen to be believed. It is the perfect location for The September Sessions.

Saturday was a solid 30knot side on with perfect boosting and waveriding conditions.. Small kites all around, Stef on a 3m Ozone light and the rest of use were on 5m and 7m.. Check out Warrens movie of the actionTyrella big winds session
Sunday the wind swung north giving use a light off shore breeze with still a nice swell running up the Irish sea. SUP and longboard action. SUP Tyrella style

Stand Up Paddle Surfing or SUP is the fastest going watersport in the world currently. And ElementSportz are the first in Northern Ireland to retail and demo the equipment needed to get into this new sport. Whether your into flat water paddling or big wave charging it has it all. ElementSportz in association with IKSA will be running the 5th leg of the tour in the NI crews local spot, Tyrella beach.. We are expecting a good show from the local riders, who have be training hard and putting their bodies on the line the last couple of weeks.

ElementSportz spent the weekend at the Dublin round of the IKSA tour. Plenty of sun, craic, food and drink but not alot of wind. There will be a 3 months break till the next round of the tour so plenty of time for the guys and girls to get some new tricks down. check out the links below to see what you missed.
